Wave power not funded by Blair
The world's first commercial wave-powered electricity generator is to be built in the Irish Republic (Eire) because Blairs Labour party would not fund
the building in Scottish waters!
Angry environmentalists and engineers believe that Scotland will
miss out on the chance to be the world leader in this field that will
generate billions worldwide in the next few years.
The Scottish company; Applied Research & Technology, (in Inverness) has
applied for a contract under the Irish renewable energy programme to install the second
ocean swell powered renewable energy (Osprey) machine on the Irish west coast.
Another fine example of Westminster not giving a hoot about hi-technology
developments and failing to verify its green credentials.
Stay with London - be a loser. The new moto for new labour.
