Peter Hain a junior minister from the Welsh Office has said of Tony Blairs attitude to make the Scots look towards middle England as the way forward as a mistake. He said "We have got ourselves into a dangerous situation where a Labour government appears as if it is being gratuitously offensive to its own natural supporters."
