John Prescott wants mini parliaments everywhere
John prescott has the idea that setting up mini regional assemblies across England (at the tax payers expense) would be a good way to give more power back to the regions. In effect, if this were to happen, these stupid jumped up councils would have about as much authority as the Scottish parliament i.e. next to none. But they would be a grand fiasco for the media and a showplace for incompetency.

This idea also says a lot about how London regards the so called Scottish parliament, with contempt. Just another regional assembly, with NO real recognition for the Scots as a people or a nation in waiting.
