Blair wants a bigger more balanced security council
Tony Blair wants to increase the number of permanent seats on the UN security
council to 10, up from the current 5 (China/Russia/"UK"/USA/France) - and
include Germany and Japan.
This is a GOOD idea. It should also include perhaps Saudi Arabia and perhaps
South Africa, given these states are major players in world affairs anyway.
The USA might not like it, but the comfy post world war II days are over and the
whole world wants to speak.
Tony Blair has shown some guts at last!
