Scottish parliament building site holdup

The Scottish public have stated in radio, straw and paper polls that they want to see the new parliament building situated atop Calton Hill. A hill looking over the city of Edinburgh, a hill already rich in beautiful architecture from Scotlands past.

However, the London run Scottish Office wants the site to be at Leith docks, convenient for the civil servants.

Now Donald dewar, the Scottish Office minister has put a hold on plans till next year, rather than bowing to public pressure.

Of course this will help make the new parliament homeless and more than likely a laughing stock.
