Hamilton South by-election may well go to SNP

Even though Nu (London!)Labour have set the date for this by-election to clash directly with the annual conference of the SNP, the SNP have a great chance to win the seat from Labour.

Annabelle Ewing from that great line of Scottish politicians is set to fight a safe labour seat and hopefully tear it from Londons grubby clutches. As long as the voters in Hamilton haven't forgotten the lies and snubs they have received from Labour these last 2 years Labour cannot win.

The SNP deputy leader, John Swinney, said: "Annabelle will be fighting hard to win for Hamilton South and for Scotland as a strong and positive alternative to a party which takes its orders from London."
