Scottish after dark curfew on youngsters

New legislation being pushed by Labour on Scotland give police sweeping powers to effectively take in to custody any youngster under the age of sixteen who is on the street away from home after dark!

A spokesman for civil liberties in Scotland Professor Alan Miller said: "The people and Parliament have not yet given police the powers to deprive people of their liberties like this. It is true that the police have the legal right to protect young children who are not being looked after, but it is a very different scenario dealing with a youth who simply does not want to tell police why he is out after dark"

IN SCOTLAND IT IS DARK FROM 3PM UNTIL 8AM FROM MID NOVEMBER UNTIL MID FEBRUARY EVERY DAY

Why doesn't labour hit the criminals instead of persecuting younger people? Then again criminals fight back. Is this Labours idea of cracking down on crime, if so, its pathetic.
