EU Agriculture Commissioner Franz Fischler said he was sorry that Scottish beef exports are still only at 1% the levels they used to be before the EU banned the BSE ridden ENGLISH beef from crossing the channel.

London promised action to clean up the act and a marketing campagain to persuade the Europeans the beef was ALL safe, but the Scottish beef farmer will soon be an extinct species. Another example of why the Scottish-English Union is damaging, outdated and wholly detrimental to Scotland and the Scots.
