Many rich land owners in Scotland (often English or landed as a result of the treachery of their ancestors who sold out to London in 1707) invite foreign and English hunting parties onto their land to shoot and hunt.

With the fox hunting ban looking like it will stick in England, these same people are manipulating the Scottish executive to keep fox hunting alive in Scotland.
