ALL transport is devolved to Scotland - that includes canals

British Waterways, based in England, is to have the full say in how cash is to be spent to improve and repair hundreds of miles of canals in Scotland.

That means if the English parliament decides to levy taxes for all canal use, walking, sailing, fishing then we obedient subservient little Scots would just have to say yes - as usual.

Time the Scottish parliament removed the finger from its nether regions, stopped playing footsie with Westminster and ordered them to back off!
