Scottish Labour MAY split from London

Scotlands biggest Trade Union, UNISON, published a pamphlet today, titled "Towards a devolved Scottish Labour Party". It is the first outward sign that people have realised the spin-doctors in Labour down in London are losing their grip to hamstring the Scottish parliament even before it is elected.

A Scottish Labour party would surely embody those traits the Scots hold more dearly to their hearts than those people of Southern England that Tony Blair fought to win over.

The SNP and a Scottish devolved - no party whip in London Labour could even govern Scotland together, its a possibility.

At least UNISON has had the courage to point out that Blair wants to maintain Londons iron grip over Scotland and its wealth.
