SNP being forced into obeying Englands Queen

The Oath that Scottish MSPs must take before they can sit in the 'parliament' in Edinburgh includes these words

"By virtue of the oath of allegiance taken or affirmation made by all members when they are elected to the parliament, members have a duty to be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen, her heirs and successors according to law."

The MSPs should have true allegiance to the people of Scotland and NOT to a queen who has nothing at all to do with a modern first world country.

Hopefully the talks Alex Salmond had with Prince Charles last year will lead to a purely figurehead approach to 'royals' after Scotland becomes independent.
