The European Union has banned the use of recycled animal products to prevent their reentry into the animal food chain.

This is a welcome move but too late. CJD and BSE are here and will claim more lives every year as we ALL pay for the greed of many farmers across Europe and the negligence of the European agriculture ministers.

Cattle should be eating grass , hay and vegetables - that fact lost on us all because we wanted cheaper beef, now the laugh is on us.
