So the World Trade Organization has said that Europe must neglect its poor old colonial neighbours and buy cheap bananas from the poor (almost US colonial) central Americans instead.

Now the WTO wants the EU to allow the imports of hormone laden beef into the human food chain.

The EU commission (or whats left of it!) needs to make it plain that the EU, with a stronger economic base than the USA, with a larger population tahn the US will NOT succumb to pathetic US sabre rattling.

The Europeans are not some weak central American state after all.

A counter list of US goods that will be terrifed or banned needs to be drawn up and made available to the US government so any deals that are struck are FAIR to both sides.
