A recent poll showed that Labour in Scotland was ahead of the SNP in voting intentions polls. Its hardly surprising considering Alex Salmonds out of the blue decision to stand down as SNP leader.

But, for Labour to say they were giving Scottish voters what they want is absolute codswallop!

We are still subsidising England. We are still losing jobs. Our 'devolved' powers are still being eroded (eg education/ transport policy). We are still third class citizens in Europe because we have no DIRECT representation.

Good job by Labours spin doctors though.

It still seems sad that , in the words of the Proclaimers, "We boast then we cower".

Thats Scotlands shame and story.
